- Born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Winnie began her studies at CEFAR and Compasso Academia de Dança. In 2008, after winning the International Dance Festival in Brasilia, she was offered a scholarship by Vladmir Klos and Birgit Keil to study at the Akademie des Tanzes Mannheim. Later, she earned her Master's Degree in Dance and served as an apprentice dancer with the Staatsballett Karlsruhe.
In 2010, she guest-danced with the Ballet du Rhin in Mulhouse, France. In 2011, she became a member of the newly founded Bundesjugendballett (German National Youth Ballet), directed by John Neumeier and Kevin Haigen and after a dancer with The Hamburg Ballet.
During her time at The Hamburg Ballet, she performed various solos and principal roles, including Cinderella’s Step-sister, Pas de Six of Napoli, Pas de Huit in the Nutcracker, Juliet’s cousin in Romeo & Juliet, and main roles in Renku, Petruschka Variations, Preludes CV, among others from Neumeier's repertoire. She collaborated closely with Mr. Neumeier, Kevin Haigen, and choreographers such as Yuka Oishi, Orkan Dann, Natalia Horecna, Robert Binet, Masa Kolar, Thiago Bordin, Kenneth Tindall, and Kristofer Storey.
She has performed in numerous cities worldwide, including Tokyo, Moscow, St. Petersburg, London, Vienna, Shanghai, Beijing, Muscat, Cannes, Chicago, Washington DC, Madrid, San Francisco, Verona, Venice, Copenhagen, Luxembourg, and throughout Germany.
Since August 2017, Winnie has worked as a freelance dancer and choreographer. She has performed as a guest artist with the English National Ballet London, Opernhaus Zurich, and the Acworkroom Company. She has also undertaken independent projects in the theatre and film fields, showcasing her choreographies at venues like the Royal Opera House, Berliner Philanthropy and Elbphilarmonie Hamburg.
Her recent performances include collaborations with Andrew Mcnicol for the world premiere of The Mcnicol Ballet Collective in London, working with Sete Lagrimas, Philharmonie Luxembourg, and Benjamin Prins. She participated in the world premiere of "Romeo and Juliet" by Johan Kobborg at the Arena di Verona in Italy, "The Little Red and the Wolf" by Ross Freddie Ray at the Zaradye Hall in Moscow, “No time like the present” from choreographer Katya Bourvis and a residency at Orsolina 28 in Italy to create “La Strada” from Natalia Horecna produced by The Alina Cojocaru foundation.
Additionally, she received twice the “Dis-Tanzen” artistic grant for her work and movement research, funded by the German Culture Ministry via the Dachverband Tanz.
Winnie is also a videomaker, editor and a certified 200H Yoga Teacher.-

- Nascida em Belo Horizonte, Brasil, Winnie iniciou seus estudos no CEFAR e na Compasso Academia de Dança. Em 2008, após vencer o Festival Internacional de Dança de Brasília, recebeu uma bolsa de estudos de Vladmir Klos e Birgit Keil para estudar na Akademie des Tanzes Mannheim. Mais tarde, obteve seu mestrado em dança e trabalhou como aprendiz no Staatsballett Karlsruhe.
