Devotions - Mcnicol Ballet Collective

Following the success of McNicol Ballet Collective’s debut programme in 2021 the innovative dance company returns this summer with Devotions, a triple bill of virtuosic dance work choreographed by Andrew McNicol. Devotions tours to The Royal Opera House’s Linbury Theatre (10 June) as part of the Next Generation Festival, The Stanley and Audrey Burton Theatre, Leeds (17 June) and Hull New Theatre (23 & 24 June).

No Time like the present

at Wentworth Woodhouse

No Time Like The Present is a female-led, outdoor, one act ballet performed and created by a diverse team. It is performed in the beautiful green spaces of South Yorkshire, aimed at new regional audiences.

The production seeks to subvert traditional ballet conventions in terms of inclusion, setting, costume and music. The research and development piece also gave audiences the opportunity to experience its development.
